From KB…
I started working with Dr. Charlie Seltzer in the Summer of 2012. At that time I was in good shape, having worked out several times a week for several years, including regular weight training. But I felt that I had plateaued, and working out became a joyless chore. A friend of a friend recommend Charlie, and soon I started training under his instruction. Charlie dramatically changed my weekly workout regiment, which he would then alter about every six weeks. He also convinced me to take a few different supplements, for a variety of reasons that he can no doubt explain much better than I. The bottom line is that 10 months later, I have gained approximately eight pounds of muscle, and I am slimmer stronger than I have ever been in my life. The results are startling. But even more importantly, Charlie has made going to the gym fun for me again. As soon as one routine grows old, in comes Charlie with a radically different workout. And he is always available and very happy (or so it seems!) to answer the interminable questions I have for him, whether it be about my diet, the gym, stress, or just about anything else. In short, I could not be more thankful for Charlie and all that he’s done to make my life happier and healthier.
From SK… (Update: I spoke with SK this morning, on 4/16/2013, and she is 192 pounds!)
When I began working with Dr. Seltzer on August 9th, 2012, I weighed 263 pounds. I am currently under 220 pounds and feel better than ever, thanks to Dr. Charlie’s special combination of delivering quality medical advice and optimistic cheer-leading. I know in my core that he is my partner on this journey. His expertise and positive outlook have inspired me to change what needed changing so that I could improve my quality of life, which was essentially nonexistent 4 months ago. The past four short months, I have weaned off 10 years of prescription narcotics for pain and switched from eating for emotional comfort to eating to fuel my body to allow me to have strength and energy. The two food journal entries below say it all.

I thought I had a mystery disease causing exhaustion and openly referred to myself as an eighty year-old in a fifty year-old body. To get out of a chair first I used the chair’s arms to lift myself partially into the air. Then I’d move my palms to my thighs and push myself the rest of the way to standing. Thanks to Dr. Charlie’s advice and direction and my willingness to make the changes and do the work I now jump out of a chair and am 10 feet away from it before I’ve even noticed I got up! And I’m just getting started!!
If you feel prematurely old and sick and fear there’s no hope for you, welcome to the land of hope: Limitless Longevity. Desperate with pain, lethargy and a recent pneumonia caused by prescription opiate use I was awake and miserable in the middle of the night watching the TV news when a story came on about Dr. Charlie and a patient at least as sick as me who was restored to health. I emailed Dr. Charlie and asked if he could help me even though I am 2500 miles from Philadelphia. He and Courtney, Limitless Longevity’s practice manager, immediately responded and a collaboration in search of a new life began. I’m just one of many Dr. Charlie has helped like this and you can be too. I’ve gone from taking 12 different prescriptions daily to none by making my body healthy with quality foods in moderate amounts, hydration, supplements and movement. My family doctor is blown-away by the change in my physique and blood-work. At 52, I no longer feel 80. I feel like I did at 35 and I’m not done turning back the clock.
Thank you Dr. Charlie and Courtney.

I believe it is typical for all of us to feel that we are in the “normal range” even though we may be larger than most of our friends. When I made my appointment with Dr. Seltzer, that is what I thought. I was persuaded to make the appointment by people who care about me, and knew about Dr. Seltzer’s passion for health and longevity. True, I wasn’t feeling as sprite as I once had. I was often fatigued, not the fatigued you are from exercise, but just an overall lack of energy throughout the day.I argued that it was a waste of time and money (though be it small) as I already knew that exercise and calorie counting were the way to lose weight. Of course, Dr. Seltzer confirmed this, but what else he examined and treated has made the ability for me to lose and maintain weight possible. And Yes, I was in the “normal” range…that is to say, like 40% of the overall population, I was obese.
Limitless Longevity is not about getting on a scale, getting a prescription and walking out the door. Limitless Longevity takes the time to truly understand your physiological issues (sometimes emotional, but of course, that doesn’t apply to me). This comprehensive approach to health is something I haven’t seen in a long time. Our primary doctors often treat us, or see us, when there is a problem, or for that prostate exam once a year. They look at the scale, look at us, and say “you really need to lose weight. You know that belly fat is the most dangerous fat. etc. etc.” As they are giving us the solution to our problem (as if we didn’t know) exercise more, eat less, they often fail to connect the dots with regards to other aspects of our health. Unless your thyroid is screaming at them, they let you go with a word of “good luck.”
Dr. Seltzer has worked with me over the past two months. During that time, I have lost 30 pounds, 7.5 inches from my waist and 9% body fat. While these numbers are great, they are the least of what has impressed me most about the practice. I can honestly say that I haven’t felt this good in a very long time. My brain and body feel alive, I feel fit, and I feel proud.
Limitless Longevity helps its patients meet their short term goals while always looking down the path, of where we are going. As Dr. Seltzer says: “The future is coming. How do you want to look and feel when it arrives?”

When I first met Charlie, I knew right away this time, it would be different. I have been dieting since the age of 16. I’ve tried everything -from weight watchers, HCG injections, south beach, I even had a weight-loss surgery performed, and reversed. I’ve spent thousands of dollars. I would lose and gain, get upset and lose motivation. I could never keep off the weight.
In these past three months of working with doctor Charlie, he helped me really tackle the battle I’ve been in in a way I’ve never done before. He asks questions and has conversations to motivate while reaching underlying issues. I’ve been to so many doctors and nutritionists. I would always say, I know what to eat. Charlie really got into the whole multidisciplinary approach, with psychology, nutritional guidance, supplement information, and weight loss tips. Going to see Doctor Charlie is like a one stop shop.
Dr Charlie gave me many options and taught me useful tools I never knew, and they were simple to follow. He even created an online document, and chat with meals and options daily. The best thing Doctor Charlie says to his patients is, ” does it seem like this will work for your life”. What I love about his approach is you never feel like you have to be on a diet. He always says, “there’s no way for the rest of your life you cannot enjoy food. You just have to plan it.” It really is a lifestyle working with Dr. Charlie.
His bedside manner is incomparable to any other person I’ve ever met. There is no pressure, or expectations. He keeps you motivated while being understanding that its not going to be perfect all the time. His practice is in the moment, he believes it is what you do when you fall off that counts, not what you ate on Saturday. Charlie is not a doctor who leaves work at work . He cares so much about his patients, he even offered to have phone consultations and emails if needed. There have been times I just needed a simple pep talk on a Friday night. I look forward to going to see Doctor Charlie and his staff…how many people can actually say that. I trust in his practice, he is nothing like the reputation of weight loss doctors. He doesn’t believe in fad diets. Charlie gives you the power and responsibility of your life and with his guidance, success is guaranteed.
I’ve ever met a doctor so amazing. Charlie literally saved me. He has helped me stop self-sabotage and find my happiness again. I’ve been so depressed about my weight issues, and finding Limitless Longevity has been a blessing I will be forever grateful for.
I can’t put into words how much I love this doctor and the help I have been given. There isn’t enough of anything in the world to thank him for all he is doing. I’m lucky to know such an amazing doctor and lucky to be one of his patients.

Dr. Seltzer has made a major change in my life. Since my wife and I started working with Charlie, we are fit, svelt, and our blood work is excellent. For the first time in our lives, we have muscles. In a most cheerful, endearing way, Dr. Seltzer has taught us how to eat and how to exercise. We’ve learned to enjoy exercise and the relaxing effect it has on our tension. We are active litigating lawyers who live with extreme daily stress. Charlie has inspired us to use our exercise routine to relieve that stress, while making two 69 year-olds look and feel like 35 year-olds. Thank you Charlie for not only the kind of lifestyle changes that extend longevity, but also significantly enhance the quality of those lives.
